The Bor Youth Association of Victoria is dedicated to implementation of the privacy act. The BYAV privacy policy describes how we assemble, use, store and disclose your personal information and the management of that information. BYAV management and members of the will be part of the execution.
Collection of your information as memebrs of BYAV
Personal detail is any information, whether recorded in the registry or electronically stored, about you. The BYAV management collects your personal information directly from you or, from third parties (Bor Community Association of Australia or Bor Youth Association of Australia) or from information available publicly. This information may be needed to guarantee the provision of the appropriate service by BYAV and the excellence of that service.

Where BYAV keep personal information that is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected, the information will be discarded or , subject to any legal necessities to maintain the information.

You are unrestricted to access your personal information collected by BYAV and to ensure it is accurate. All requests for access to your information need are made to clear to the Secretary who is also chief officer of cases related to personal privacy.
All logical steps taken to provide you with access to your information and to correct or update your information are kept in the BYAV registry.
Why is it important to keep the information of our members?
Provisions of your personal details allow us to update you throughout the time of your membership existence and as accordance with the membership article in the constitution. The BYAV officer with the registration will be guided by this privacy to respect and abide with the conditions of our members. The registrars of BYAV members firmly are entitle to keep the records to date by asking all members any required document.
Confidentiality
It is the responsibility of BYAV management on the services that will be offered to our members and the information provided to remain confidential. Exposure of such information without any authorization is against the will and the rules of the association and this may result in further disciplinary action on the individual involved. All members involved should read understand and agreed to the privacy policy as the will be considered to have read and accord the policy incase of any duty carried out on be have of BYAV. It is your responsibility to act in accordance with all restrictions regarding confidential information. You must ask the staff member of BYAV who is consulting with you to identify the confidential information of every activity. Also, do not hesitate to ask any other questions about confidentiality.
